History of Mattioli Engineering

After 14 years, Mattioli Engineering has grown into a global leader in the cosmetic and medical field. We know our industry. And year after year, we continue to provide our clients with technologically advanced equipment that surpasses all expectations.

Mattioli Engineering was established in 1992. We are a global, research-driven company and are dedicated to providing state of the art technology to the medical community. We currently have products installed all over the world.

Mattioli Engineering was the first company to introduce microdermabrasion to the United States with our line of Ultrapeel® devices. Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure in which the stratum cornea (outermost surface of the skin) is removed by a light abrasion. Microdermabrasion is primarily used to improve sun-damaged skin, to remove the appearance of dark spots, to diminish the look of facial wrinkles, to improve aging skin and to effectively treat stretch marks and scars left from moderate to severe acne. Our microdermabrasion devices are ensured to provide safety for both the patient and the operator, with the benefit of producing the most effective treatment available.

However, Mattioli Engineering does not just manufacture microdermabrasion devices - we do it all! We have the ONLY FDA cleared device to be used as an alternative to injection - the Transderm Ionto System. This device is known for enhancing practices, increasing profitability, and attracting and retaining patients afraid of injections.
